Rozwój emocjonalny i społeczny dorosłych dzieci alkoholików wychowanych w rodzinach niepełnych

dc.abstract.en	The main objective of this thesis was to examine the impact of growing up in a single-parent family where one parent struggled with alcoholism on the emotional and social development of adult children of alcoholics. The study focused on the personal experiences of participants, their childhood memories, family roles, and coping strategies for difficult emotions and situations. The theoretical section discusses the structure of single-parent families, mechanisms of addiction, and typical roles assumed by children in dysfunctional families. The research was based on a qualitative analysis of 23 individual interviews with adults raised in such environments. This analysis identified recurring patterns of emotional and social difficulties, as well as adaptive strategies used by participants both in childhood and adulthood. The results confirmed that childhood in a single-parent alcoholic family has long-term consequences for emotional and social development. These experiences shape identity, interpersonal relationships, and well-being in adulthood. The study highlights the importance of psychological, therapeutic, and social support for this group, as well as the need for further research into the specific functioning of adult children of alcoholics raised in environments lacking one parent.
dc.abstract.pl	Celem niniejszej pracy było poznanie wpływu dorastania w rodzinie niepełnej, w której jeden z rodziców zmagał się z problemem alkoholowym, na rozwój emocjonalny i społeczny dorosłych dzieci alkoholików. Badanie koncentrowało się na indywidualnych doświadczeniach uczestników, ich wspomnieniach z dzieciństwa, pełnionych rolach rodzinnych oraz strategiach radzenia sobie z trudnymi emocjami i sytuacjami. W części teoretycznej omówiono strukturę rodzin niepełnych, mechanizmy uzależnienia oraz typowe role, jakie przyjmują dzieci w rodzinach z problemem alkoholowym. Badania oparto na jakościowej analizie 23 indywidualnych wywiadów z osobami dorosłymi wychowanymi w takich warunkach. Analiza ta pozwoliła zidentyfikować powtarzające się wzorce trudności emocjonalnych i społecznych, a także strategie adaptacyjne, które badani stosowali zarówno w dzieciństwie, jak i dorosłym życiu. Wyniki potwierdziły, że dzieciństwo w rodzinie niepełnej z problemem alkoholowym wiąże się z długotrwałymi konsekwencjami dla rozwoju emocjonalnego i społecznego. Doświadczenia te wpływają na kształtowanie się tożsamości, relacje interpersonalne oraz samopoczucie badanych w dorosłości. Praca podkreśla znaczenie wsparcia psychologicznego, terapeutycznego i społecznego dla tej grupy, a także potrzebę dalszych badań nad specyfiką funkcjonowania dorosłych dzieci alkoholików wychowanych w środowisku pozbawionym jednego z rodziców.
