Handel ludźmi w Polsce w latach 2004-2024: przyczyny, skutki oraz formy pomocy ofiarom

dc.abstract.en	The aim of this thesis, titled “Human Trafficking in Poland in the Years 2004–2024: Causes, Consequences, and Forms of Assistance for Victims”, was to examine and describe the phenomenon of human trafficking in Poland, with particular emphasis on its causes and consequences. The thesis also presents the available forms of support and assistance offered to victims of this crime. The first chapter focuses on an analysis of the legal aspects and selected forms of human trafficking. It provides a detailed definition of the phenomenon, outlines its precise framework in Polish and international law, and discusses specific cases of committed offences. The second chapter examines the causes of human trafficking in Poland, identifying three key factors: economic, social, and legal. It highlights the links between the occurrence of this crime and labour migration, poverty, lack of education, and gaps in the legal system. The third chapter presents the consequences of human trafficking, dividing them into psychophysical and social effects. It describes the impact on victims’ health and the challenges they face in interpersonal interactions. The final, fourth chapter analyses the forms of assistance available to victims, both at the national and international level. It outlines institutional support as well as various programmes, campaigns, and training initiatives aimed at ensuring protection for affected individuals. To achieve the stated objectives, the thesis draws on an analysis of legal acts—both national and international—relevant literature, and case studies of specific incidents. In addition, an interview was conducted with an employee of the La Strada Foundation. The findings of the research indicate that it is not possible to determine the exact scale of the phenomenon.
dc.abstract.pl	Celem niniejszej pracy pt. “Handel ludźmi w Polsce w latach 2004 - 2024: przyczyny, skutki oraz formy pomocy ofiarom” było zbadanie i opisanie zjawiska handlu ludźmi w Polsce, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem jego przyczyn i skutków. Ponadto przedstawienie dostępnych form pomocy i wsparcia dla ofiar tego procederu. Rozdział pierwszy dotyczy analizy aspektów prawnych i wybranych form handlu ludźmi. Ukazuje szczegółową definicję omawianego zjawiska, dokładne ramy w prawie polskim i międzynarodowym oraz konkretne przypadki popełnionego przestępstwa. Rozdział drugi skupia się na przyczynach zjawiska handlu ludźmi w Polsce, wyodrębniając trzy podstawowe czynniki: ekonomiczny, społeczny i prawny. Wskazuje zależność występowania procederu ze względu na migracje zarobkowe, ubóstwo, brak edukacji i luki w systemie prawnym. Z kolei rozdział trzeci przedstawia skutki handlu ludźmi, dzieląc je na psychofizyczne i społeczne. Opisuje konsekwencje dla stanu zdrowia ofiar, a także z czym muszą mierzyć się przy kontaktach międzyludzkich. Ostatni, czwarty rozdział analizuje formy pomocy ofiarom zarówno w wymiarze krajowym, jak i międzynarodowym. Wyszczególnia wsparcie instytucjonalne oraz prowadzenie różnorodnych programów, kampanii i szkoleń mających na celu zapewnienie ochrony osobom pokrzywdzonym. Do realizacji celów wykorzystano analizę aktów prawnych, zarówno krajowych, jak i międzynarodowych, literatury przedmiotu, a także studium przypadków konkretnych spraw. Ponadto przeprowadzono wywiad z pracownikiem Fundacji La Strada. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, że nie jest możliwe określenie jednoznacznej skali zjawiska.
