Orzecznictwo Sądu Kasacyjnego Księstwa Warszawskiego

dc.abstract.en	This thesis is devoted to the analysis of the jurisprudence of the Court of Cassation of the Duchy of Warsaw, based on a collection of rulings published in the Journal of Decrees of the Court of Cassation of the Duchy of Warsaw between 1810 and 1812. The author pays particular attention to criminal cases, providing a detailed analysis with regard to the subject matter of the proceedings and the types of crimes committed. The study also considers selected criminological aspects such as the origin and social status of the offenders, their gender, age, motivations, relationship with the victims, and the circumstances in which the crimes were committed. At the same time, the primary objective of the thesis remains to broaden the knowledge of the functioning and jurisprudential practice of the Court of Cassation, as well as to provide a statistical overview of its activity in both civil and criminal cases.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest analizie orzecznictwa Sądu Kasacyjnego Księstwa Warszawskiego w oparciu o zbiór wyroków publikowanych w „Dzienniku Dekretów Sądu Kasacyjnego Księstwa Warszawskiego” w latach 1810 – 1812. Autor szczególną uwagę poświęca orzecznictwu w sprawach karnych przeprowadzając ich dokładną analizę ze względu na przedmiot postępowania oraz typ przestępstwa. Uwzględnia on również niektóre aspekty kryminologiczne np.: pochodzenie i stan sprawców, ich płeć, wiek, motywacje, relacje z pokrzywdzonymi, okoliczności w jakich popełniano przestępstwo etc. Jednocześnie głównym celem przedmiotowej pracy pozostaje poszerzenie stanu wiedzy na temat funkcjonowania i praktyki orzeczniczej Sądu Kasacyjnego oraz statystyczne przedstawienie jego działalności w zakresie spraw cywilnych i karnych.
