Determinanty wyboru równoległych kierunków studiów w kontekście zmian zachodzących na polskim rynku pracy

dc.abstract.en	This paper addresses the issue of parallel studies among university students in Poland. This thesis aims to identify and analyse the factors that influence the decision to undertake multidisciplinary studies. The theoretical part includes a review of the literature on the development of the Polish labour market and the conditions of higher education, while emphasising the importance of interdisciplinarity in educational and professional development. In addition, the analysis takes into account the psychological context in terms of motivational and decision-making mechanisms. The empirical part is based on a qualitative study consisting of in-depth interviews with people pursuing parallel studies. The analysis of the collected data made it possible to identify not only the main determinants of choosing multi-disciplinary studies, but also the barriers and limitations of studying in this mode. The conclusions from the study allowed for the formulation of practical recommendations to improve and facilitate parallel studies. An important aspect of the proposed measures is the modification of curricula to better adapt them to the changing requirements and needs of the labour market. The aim of the recommendations is to increase the competitiveness of university graduates on the labour market and to improve the quality of higher education, the implementation of which may also strengthen and enhance the image of universities among candidates and on the education market.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca porusza tematykę studiowania równoległego wśród studentów uczelni wyższych w Polsce. Celem pracy jest identyfikacja i analiza czynników decydujących o podjęciu się studiów wielokierunkowych. Część teoretyczna obejmuje przegląd literatury przedmiotu dotyczącej kształtowania się polskiego rynku pracy, uwarunkowań kształcenia wyższego, jednocześnie podkreślając znaczenie interdyscyplinarności w rozwoju edukacyjnym i zawodowym. Dodatkowo, analiza uwzględnia kontekst psychologiczny w zakresie mechanizmów motywacyjnych i decyzyjnych. Część empiryczna oparta jest na przeprowadzonym badaniu jakościowym składającym się z wywiadów pogłębionych z osobami realizującymi studia w trybie równoległym. Analiza zebranych danych umożliwiła wskazanie nie tylko głównych determinant wyboru studiów wielokierunkowych, ale i barier oraz ograniczeń studiowania w takim trybie. Wnioski z badania pozwoliły na sformułowanie zaleceń praktycznych usprawniających i ułatwiających studiowanie w trybie równoległym. Istotnym aspektem proponowanych działań są modyfikacje programów nauczania w celu lepszego ich dostosowania do zmiennych wymagań i potrzeb rynku pracy. Celem rekomendacji jest zwiększenie konkurencyjności absolwentów uczelni na rynku pracy, podniesienie jakości kształcenia wyższego, których wdrożenie może również wzmocnić i uatrakcyjnić wizerunek uczelni wśród kandydatów oraz na rynku edukacyjnym.
