Poglądy polityczne szlachty wielkopolskiej w latach 1674-1683 na podstawie akt sejmikowych

dc.abstract.en	This thesis is devoted to an attempt to reconstruct the political views and attitudes of the nobility of Greater Poland, i.e. the provinces of Kalisz and Poznań, in the pre-Vienna period of the reign of John III Sobieski. The main objective of the work is to examine the reasons behind the attitudes and views of the citizens of Greater Poland, their characteristics in comparison with the rest of society, the frequency of demands and the growth of specific political tendencies. For this purpose, sejmik records were used, consisting of parliamentary and royal instructions, lauds, parliamentary manifestations, reports from council deliberations, and correspondence. The work is divided into seven chapters. The first six chapters develop the subject of internal politics and the most important issues of the period in question, namely: appointments to office and nobilitations, parliament and free election, the monarch, the judiciary, the military and the treasury. The case of Jan Andrzej Morsztyn is analysed. The last chapter deals with foreign policy issues. The thematic arrangement results from the dominance of resolutions concerning internal affairs over those devoted to foreign policy. The results of the analysis show that the nobility of Greater Poland was guided in its views by the desire to maintain the status quo, fearing threats from other estates. The nobility held on to its particular interests. Above all, the citizens cared about peace and stability. The work sheds new light on the attitude of the nobility from an important region of the Commonwealth towards the king and politics during the reign of John III Sobieski.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca jest poświęcona próbie odtworzenia poglądów politycznych i postaw szlachty z tzw. Wielkopolski właściwej, czyli województw kaliskiego i poznańskiego w okresie przedwiedeńskim panowania Jana III Sobieskiego. Głównym celem pracy jest zbadanie przyczyn postaw i poglądów Wielkopolan, ich charakterystyki na tle reszty społeczeństwa, częstotliwości postulatów i wzrostu określonych tendencji politycznych. W tym celu wykorzystano akta sejmikowe, składające się z instrukcji poselskich i królewskich, laudów, manifestacji poselskich, relacji z obrad sejmiku oraz korespondencji. Praca została podzielona na siedem rozdziałów. Pierwsze sześć rozdziałów rozwija przedmiot polityki wewnętrznej i najistotniejszych kwestii omawianego okresu, czyli: nominacje na urzędy i nobilitacje, parlament i wolną elekcję, monarchę, sądownictwo, wojskowość i skarbowość. Poddana analizie zostaje ponadto sprawa Jana Andrzeja Morsztyna. Ostatni rozdział dotyczy kwestii polityki zagranicznej. Układ tematyczny wynika z dominacji dezyderatów dotyczących spraw wewnętrznych nad tymi poświęconymi polityce zagranicznej. Wyniki przeprowadzonej analizy wykazują, iż szlachta wielkopolska w swoich poglądach kierowała się chęcią utrzymania status quo, obawiając się zagrożenia ze strony innych stanów. Szlachta trzymała się swoich partykularnych interesów. Przede wszystkim obywatele troszczyli się o pokój i stabilizację. Praca rzuca nowe światło na kwestię stosunku szlachty ze znaczącego regionu Rzeczypospolitej do króla i polityki w okresie panowania Jana III Sobieskiego.
