Styl przywództwa prezydenckiego Donalda Trumpa i Jaira Bolsonaro. Analiza porównawcza

dc.abstract.enThe aim of this paper is to identify the similarities and differences in the presidential leadership styles of Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro, as well as to determine their positions within the political systems of their respective countries. The theoretical part discusses the basic assumptions related to leadership studies. Subsequently, the context of both presidencies is analyzed in detail, along with the factors shaping their leadership styles. The final chapter highlights how both presidents exhibit traits of authoritarian, transformational, and charismatic leadership styles. It also presents the similarities and differences between their leadership approaches. The hypothesis was partially confirmed—both presidents demonstrate authoritarian tendencies; however, Donald Trump exhibits transactional leadership elements only in foreign policy.
dc.abstract.plCelem pracy jest próba znalezienia podobieństw i różnic w stylach przywództwa prezydenckiego Donalda Trumpa i Jaira Bolsonaro oraz określenie ich pozycji w systemach politycznych swoich państw. W części teoretycznej omówiono podstawowe założenia dotyczące badań nad przywództwem. Następnie, szczegółowo przeanalizowano kontekst prezydentury obu przywódców oraz aspekty kształtujące ich style przywództwa. W ostatnim rozdziale zwrócono uwagę na to, jak obaj prezydenci przejawiają cechy stylów autorytarnego, transformacyjnego i charyzmatycznego. Przedstawiono również podobieństwa i różnice między ich stylami przywództwa. Hipoteza została częściowo potwierdzona – obaj prezydenci wykazują tendencje autorytarne. Donald Trump natomiast, przejawia elementy stylu transakcyjnego tylko w polityce zagranicznej.
