Measurement of the 15N(a,g)19F reaction at the Felsenkeller laboratory

dc.abstract.en	This thesis focuses on the investigation of the 15N(α, γ)19F reaction at Eα = 1323 keV. The measurement was performed at the Felsenkeller shallow-underground laboratory (Dresden, Germany). The α-beam, provided by a 5 MV Pelletron accelerator, impinged onto solid Ta15N targets. The emitted γ-rays were detected with 21 HPGe detectors arranged around the target. The HPGe detector set-up was calibrated with standard radioactive sources and the 14N(p, γ)15O reaction. The accelerator energy-calibration was performed using the 27Al(p, γ)28Si and 14N(p, γ)15O reactions. The study aimed to determine the resonance energy, strength, branching ratios, and angular distribution of primary gamma transitions.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca magisterska dotyczy badania reakcji 15N(α, γ)19F przy wiązce o energii Eα = 1323 keV. Pomiary przeprowadzono w podziemnym laboratorium Felsenkeller (Drezno, Niemcy). Wiązka cząstek ɑ dostarczana przez akcelerator uderzała w stałe tarcze Ta15N. Emitowane promieniowanie gamma mierzone było za pomocą 21 detektorów HPGe, rozmieszczonych wokół tarczy. Układ detektorów HPGe został skalibrowany przy użyciu standardowych źródeł kalibracyjnych oraz reakcji 14N(p, γ)15O. Akcelerator został skalibrowany energetycznie z wykorzystaniem reakcji 27Al(p, γ)28Si oraz 14N(p, γ)15O. Głównym celem pracy było określenie energii i siły rezonansu, współczynników rozgałęzienia oraz rozkładu kątowego przejść gamma.
