Differences, Similarities and Changes in the Representation of Female and Male Gumiho Characters in Selected Korean Dramas of the 21st-century

dc.abstract.en	Creatures from traditional folktales have been a point of interest for the directors and writers of Korean TV series for quite some time. This dissertation focuses on how the mythological fox, a gumiho, was presented originally in folklore and how it evolved and how the portrayal of foxes differs from each other in chosen Korean TV dramas of twenty first century.

Niniejsza praca skupia się na tym jak mitologiczny lis gumiho przedstawiany był w tradycyjnym folklorze, jak to przedstawienie zmieniło się na przestrzeni lat i jak różni się od siebie w wybranych serialach koreańskich dwudziestego pierwszego wieku.
