Liderazgo femenino en América Latina. Un análisis comparativo del gobierno de Michelle Bachelet y Cristina Fernández de Kirchner

dc.abstract.en	The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the leadership styles of two Latin American presidents: Michelle Bachelet (Chile) and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (Argentina). They were chosen due to the similarity of their terms in office, which made it possible to compare their actions within similar political and social contexts. The theoretical part discusses the definitions and typologies of political leadership according to Max Weber and James MacGregor Burns, with particular emphasis on female leadership. The research section presents the historical context, the path to power, the political careers, and the key reforms of both presidents, which allowed for the identification of their leadership styles and a subsequent comparative analysis. The thesis highlights the diversity of approaches to exercising power in Latin American countries and the significance of these two leaders in shaping the role of women in the region’s politics.

dc.abstract.other	El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar los estilos de liderazgo de dos presidentas de América Latina: Michelle Bachelet (Chile) y Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (Argentina). Fueron seleccionadas debido a la cercanía temporal de sus mandatos, lo que permitió comparar sus acciones en contextos político-sociales similares. En la parte teórica se abordan las definiciones y tipologías del liderazgo político según Max Weber y James MacGregor Burns, con especial atención al liderazgo femenino. En la parte de investigación se presenta el contexto histórico, el camino hacia el poder, la carrera política y las reformas clave de ambas presidentas, lo que permitió identificar sus estilos de liderazgo y posteriormente realizar un análisis comparativo. El trabajo muestra la diversidad de enfoques en el ejercicio del poder en los países de América Latina y la importancia que estas dos líderes tuvieron en la definición del papel de la mujer en la política de la región.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca ma na celu przeanalizowanie stylów przywództwa dwóch prezydentek z Ameryki Łacińskiej – Michelle Bachelet (Chile) i Cristiny Fernández de Kirchner (Argentyna). Wybrano je ze względu na zbliżony okres rządów, co umożliwiło porównanie działań w podobnych realiach polityczno-społecznych. W części teoretycznej omówiono definicje i typologie przywództwa politycznego według Maxa Webera i Jamesa MacGregora Burnsa, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem przywództwa kobiecego. W części badawczej przedstawiono kontekst historyczny, drogę do władzy, karierę polityczną oraz kluczowe reformy obu prezydentek, co pozwoliło na identyfikację ich stylów przywództwa, a następnie dokonanie analizy porównawczej. Praca ukazuje różnorodność podejść do sprawowania władzy w państwach Ameryki Łacińskiej oraz znaczenie, jakie te dwie przywódczynie odegrały w kształtowaniu roli kobiet w polityce regionu.
