Opowiadając samego siebie. Nostalgia, opowieści o mitycznej przeszłości Michałowa i tęsknota za wspólnotowością

dc.abstract.en	The work titled 'Telling of the self. Nostalgia, stories about the mythical past of Michałowo and longing for a sense of community' focuses on the topic of nostalgia characterising the stories of the residents of the town of Michałowo. Said nostalgia refers to both individual experiences of the residents as well as the sense of a community that were to characterise the town in the past but also the times of the mythical 'once' that is unspecified a and imagined in an idolised way. The main mode in which this nostalgia is revealed are the stories told, however they are accompanied by the material memory carriers, such as photographs and sentimental souvenirs. An important element of constructing the memories are multisensory experiences and embodied memories manifested in action. Telling about and sharing the memories about the mythical 'once' allows them to come to life as an element of one's identity. Thus one of the effects of the action of remembering is creating a continuity between the imagined past and the present still in the making.

Nostalgia, opowieści o mitycznej przeszłości Michałowa i tęsknota za wspólnotowością skupia się na zagadnieniu nostalgii, jaka cechowała opowieści mieszkańców i mieszkanek miejscowości Michałowo. Nostalgia ta dotyczy zarówno indywidualnych doświadczeń mieszkańców, poczucia wspólnotowości, jakim miejscowość miała się cechować w przeszłości, ale również czasów mitycznego kiedyś, niedoprecyzowanego i wyobrażanego w sposób idealizujący. Podstawowym sposobem ujawniania się ów nostalgii są historie mówione, jednak towarzyszą im również materialne nośniki pamięci, w postaci zdjęć lub pamiątek o wartości sentymentalnej. Istotnym elementem konstruowania wspomnień są również multisensoryczne doświadczenia oraz ucieleśniona pamięć, przejawiająca się poprzez działanie. Opowiadanie i dzielenie się wspomnieniami o mitycznym kiedyś pozwala na jego ożywienie jako element własnej tożsamości. Tym samym jednym z efektów czynności wspominania jest wytwarzanie ciągłości pomiędzy wyobrażaną przeszłością i wciąż tworzoną teraźniejszością.
