Między krajowością a białoruskością – dyskurs etnopolityczny „Przeglądu Wileńskiego” (1922–1924)

dc.abstract.en	This study analyses the ethnopolitical discourse in the Wilno based fortnightly journal Przegląd Wileński during the period from the collapse of Central Lithuania to the significant shift in the journal’s discourse at the end of 1924. The empirical material consisted of articles from the journal that addressed the issues covered in this study. The study comprises four chapters, each with subchapters. In conducting the analysis, I employed the method of qualitative content analysis. The analysis focused primarily on the relationship between the national idea and support for the formation of a modern Belarusian nation, as well as on criticism of Polish nationalism, centralism and discrimination against national minorities. Przegląd Wileński viewed the lands of the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania as a genuine multinational community and sought to create a similar state entity (Kraj) in the present day. However, the journal did not present a political programme, but rather a certain idea and vision. The idea of the Kraj involved opposing the concept of Polish nationalism and supporting the development of the nations within the Kraj in their distinct identities. The journal devoted particular attention to the Belarusian question, which had a significant influence on the Kraj concept and on the Belarusian people as the largest ethnic group in the lands of former Lithuania. The columnists of Przegląd Wileński gave their full support to the development of the Belarusian nation, criticised the discrimination emanating from Poland and the Poles, whilst at the same time striving to integrate Belarusians into the multi-national project of the Kraj. The discourse in Przegląd Wileński proved to be internally tense, yet not without cognitive value.
dc.abstract.pl	W pracy analizowano dyskurs etnopolityczny wileńskiego dwutygodnika Przegląd Wileński w okresie od upadku Litwy Środkowej do istotnej zmiany dyskursy czasopisma w końcu roku 1924. Materiał empiryczny stanowili artykułu czasopisma, zawierające problematykę pracy. Praca zawiera cztery rozdziały z podrozdziałami. Podczas analizy zastosowałem metodę jakościowej analizy treści. W analizie największą uwagę skupiono na zagadnieniach stosunku między ideą krajową a poparciem stanowienia współczesnego narodu białoruskiego, jak również krytyce polskiego nacjonalizmu, centralizmu i dyskryminacji mniejszości narodowych. Przegląd Wileński postrzegał ziemie dawnego Wielkiego Księstwa Litewskiego jako realną wielonarodową wspólnotę i pragnął stworzenia podobnego organizmu państwowego (Kraju) we współczesności. Jednak na łamach czasopisma nie znajdował się program polityczny, a bardziej pewna idea i wizja. Idea Kraju zakładała przeciwstawienie się idei polskiego nacjonalizmu i poparcie rozwoju narodów krajowych w ich odrębności. Szczególna uwaga czasopisma była poświęcona kwestii białoruskiej, która okazała duży wpływ na ideą krajową i narodowi białoruskiemu jako etniczności najbardziej liczebnej na ziemiach dawnej Litwy. Publicyści Przeglądu Wileńskiego wszechstronnie popierali rozwój narodu białoruskiego, krytykowali dyskryminację, która wychodziła ze strony Polski i Polaków a jednocześnie dążyli do wpisanie Białorusinów w wielonarodowy projekt Kraju. Dyskurs Przeglądu Wileńskiego okazał się wewnętrznie napięty, lecz nie pozbawiony wartości poznawczej.
