Organizacje fact-checkingowe w walce z dezinformacją. Weryfikacja fake newsów na temat wojny w Ukrainie

dc.abstract.en	This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the role of fact-checking organizations in combating disinformation, with particular emphasis on verifying information appearing in connection with the war in Ukraine. The main objective of the thesis was to learn and identify the methods of information verification used by selected organizations when verifying information. To achieve this objective, an analysis and critique of the literature and a case study were conducted in the scope of the activities of three platforms: Demagog.org.pl, FakeNews.pl and Sprawam.afp.com, focusing on their verification of reports related to the conflict in Ukraine. The three aforementioned fact-checking organizations were examined, from which three examples of unmasked fake news were selected in order to learn the methods of verifying selected information. The identified verification methods emphasize the professionalism and diversity of tools available to fact-checking organizations in the fight against disinformation. The results of the thesis confirm the key role of these organizations in providing reliable public information, which is particularly important in the period of intensive disinformation accompanying armed conflicts, such as the war in Ukraine.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca licencjacka poświęcona jest roli organizacji fact-checkingowych w zwalczaniu dezinformacji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem weryfikacji informacji pojawiających się w związku z wojną w Ukrainie. Celem głównym pracy było poznanie i zidentyfikowanie metod weryfikacji informacji stosowanych przez wybrane organizacje przy weryfikacji informacji. Aby osiągnąć ten cel, przeprowadzono analizę i krytykę piśmiennictwa oraz studium przypadku w zakresie działań trzech platform: Demagog.org.pl, FakeNews.pl oraz Sprawdzam.afp.com, skupiając się na ich weryfikacjach dotyczących doniesień związanych z konfliktem w Ukrainie. Badaniom poddano trzy ww. Organizacje fact-checkingowe, z których wybrano po trzy przykłady zdemaskowanego fake newsa, celem poznania sposobów weryfikacji wybranych informacji. Zidentyfikowane metody weryfikacji podkreślają profesjonalizm i różnorodność narzędzi, jakimi dysponują organizacje fact-checkingowe w walce z dezinformacją. Wyniki pracy potwierdzają kluczową rolę tych organizacji w zapewnieniu rzetelnej informacji publicznej, co jest szczególnie istotne w okresie intensywnej dezinformacji towarzyszącej konfliktom zbrojnym, takim jak wojna w Ukrainie.
