Atlas polskich skoków narciarskich - koncepcja atlasu tematycznego

dc.abstract.en	The aim of this work is to prepare a concept, mock-up and selected plates for The atlas of Polish ski jumping. As part of a literature review, information was gathered on the history and contemporary realities of ski jumping, on the graphic and, in particular, cartographic visualisation of the sport, and on atlases. A review of atlases allowed us to familiarise ourselves with the editorial solutions used in this type of cartographic work. The next chapter presents the methodology adopted in this master's thesis. The subsequent steps of the methodological scheme are explained, with particular emphasis on the sources of thematic data necessary for the development of maps. Next, the results of the work are presented. The method of preparing individual boards and the selection of data presentation methods were discussed, and guidelines for the potential development of the remaining pages of the mock-up were provided. The chapter Discussion of results compares The atlas of Polish ski jumping with other thematic atlases, the results of diploma theses from the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies of the University of Warsaw, and three editions of the Fan's Handbook, prepared by the editors of the skijumping.pl portal. The thesis includes conclusions drawn during the development of the atlas mock-up, as well as tips and recommendations for potential editors of cartographic publications related to sports, in particular ski jumping. A mock-up of the atlas is attached to the thesis in Appendix 3.
dc.abstract.pl	Celem niniejszej pracy jest przygotowanie koncepcji, makiety i wybranych plansz Atlasu polskich skoków narciarskich. W ramach przeglądu literatury zebrano informacje o historii i współczesnych realiach skoków narciarskich, o graficznej, a w szczególności kartograficznej wizualizacji sportu oraz o atlasach. Przeprowadzona kwerenda atlasów pozwoliła na zapoznanie się z rozwiązaniami redakcyjnymi stosowanymi w tego typu opracowaniach kartograficznych. W kolejnym rozdziale przedstawiono metodykę przyjętą w niniejszej pracy magisterskiej. Wyjaśniono kolejne kroki postępowania ze schematu metodycznego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem źródeł danych tematycznych niezbędnych do opracowania map. Następnie zaprezentowano wyniki pracy. Omówiono sposób przygotowania poszczególnych plansz, dobór metod prezentacji danych, a także podano wskazówki dotyczące potencjalnego opracowania pozostałych stron makiety. W rozdziale Dyskusja wyników porównano Atlas polskich skoków narciarskich do innych atlasów tematycznych, wyników prac dyplomowych z WGSR UW oraz trzech edycji Niezbędnika kibica, przygotowanych przez redakcję portalu skijumping.pl. W pracy zawarto wnioski wyciągnięte w trakcie opracowania makiety atlasu oraz wskazówki i zalecenia dla potencjalnych redaktorów opracowań kartograficznych związanych ze sportem, w szczególności ze skokami narciarskimi. Do pracy, w załączniku 3, dołączono makietę atlasu.
