Związek autodestruktywności pośredniej z cechami osobowości typu D i nasileniem objawów somatycznych

dc.abstract.en	The aim of the present study was to examine the relationship between indirect self-destructiveness, type D personality traits, and the severity of somatic symptoms. The study also included the level of depressive and anxiety symptoms, as well as history of these disorders in the study sample. In total, 121 adults participated in the study. Five questionnaires were used to measure the analyzed variables: Indirect Self-Destructiveness Scale (ISDS-25), the Type D Personality Scale (DS14), the Somatic Symptom Scale-8 (SSS-8) translated into Polish, the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 scale (GAD-7). The results showed a significant positive relationship between type D personality traits and the severity of somatic symptoms. Somatic symptoms were also strongly positively associated with depressive symptoms and moderately positively associated with anxiety symptoms. Bivariate correlation analyses showed no significant association between indirect self-destructiveness and the severity of somatic symptoms. However, when depressive and anxiety symptoms were included in the regression model, indirect self-destructiveness emerged as a significant negative predictor of somatic symptoms. The moderating role of type D personality traits in the relationship between indirect self-destructiveness and somatic symptoms was not confirmed. The findings revealed an unexpected negative association between indirect self-destructiveness and somatic symptom severity, which represents one of the key issues discussed in the present study and highlights the need for further research in this area.
dc.abstract.pl	Celem niniejszej pracy było zbadanie związku pomiędzy autodestruktywnością pośrednią oraz cechami osobowości typu D z nasileniem objawów somatycznych. W badaniu uwzględniono również poziom objawów depresyjnych i lękowych, a także historię występowania tych zaburzeń w badanej próbie. W badaniu wzięło udział 121 osób dorosłych. Do pomiaru analizowanych zmiennych użyto łącznie pięciu kwestionariuszy: Skali pośredniej autodestruktywności (PAD-25), Skali do pomiaru typu D (DS14), przetłumaczonej na język polski skali Somatic Symptom Scale-8 (SSS-8), Kwestionariusza zdrowia pacjenta-9 (PHQ-9) oraz Kwestionariusza lęku uogólnionego (GAD-7). Wykazano istotny dodatni związek pomiędzy cechami osobowości typu D a nasileniem objawów somatycznych. Objawy somatyczne były również silnie dodatnio związane z występowaniem objawów depresyjnych oraz umiarkowanie dodatnio związane z objawami lękowymi. Na poziomie korelacji prostych, nie stwierdzono istotnej zależności pomiędzy autodestrukcyjnością pośrednią a nasileniem objawów somatycznych. Natomiast po uwzględnieniu poziomu objawów depresyjnych i lękowych autodestrukcyjność pośrednia okazała się istotnym, lecz ujemnym predyktorem objawów somatycznych. Nie potwierdzono moderacyjnej roli cech osobowości typu D w relacji między autodestrukcyjnością pośrednią a objawami somatycznymi. Uzyskane wyniki ujawniły odwrotny do zakładanego kierunek zależności pomiędzy autodestrukcyjnością pośrednią a występowaniem objawów somatycznych, co stanowi jeden z istotniejszych punktów dyskusji niniejszego badania oraz wskazuje na potrzebę dalszych badań w tym zakresie.
