Relacje Stanów Zjednoczonych z Bliskim Wschodem za czasów prezydentury George’a Busha Jr.

dc.abstract.en	The main aim of this thesis is presentation of analysis of foreign policy and international policy conducted by the administration of the United States during presidency of George Bush Jr. The thesis has been divided into five chapters. The first chapter presents causes of political processes of the administration of the United States in action on the international arena after September 11, 2001. Moreover, the first part defines the historical background of the thesis. The second chapter describes the emergence of the concept of the axis of evil in the political discourse of the United States, basing itself on the narrative presented during four most important presidential speeches at the turn of the years 2001–2003. The third chapter focuses on the idea of the war on terrorism and its realization on the example of the invasion of Iraq. The fourth chapter characterizes the Bush Doctrine and elements of the neoconservative current present in its content. The fifth chapter summarizes the content of the text and analyzes global supremacy as an ambition of hegemony in the Middle East. The thesis is based above all on sources in the English language and presents elements of critical analysis of foreign policy as well as internal administration of the American administration during the presidency of George Bush Jr.
dc.abstract.pl	Głównym celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie analizy polityki zagranicznej i międzynarodowej prowadzonej przez administrację Stanów Zjednoczonych za czasów prezydentury George’a Busha Jr. Praca została podzielona na pięć rozdziałów. Pierwszy rozdział przedstawia przyczyny procesów politycznych administracji Stanów Zjednoczonych w działaniu na arenie międzynarodowej po 11 września 2001 roku. Ponadto pierwsza część określa tło historyczne pracy. Drugi rozdział opisuje powstanie koncepcji osi zła w dyskursie politycznym Stanów Zjednoczonych, opierając się na narracji przedstawionej podczas czterech najważniejszych przemówień prezydenckich na przełomie lat 2001 - 2003. Trzeci rozdział skupia się na idei wojny z terroryzmem oraz jej realizacji na przykładzie inwazji na Irak. Czwarty rozdział charakteryzuje Doktrynę Busha i obecne w jej treści elementy nurtu neokonserwatywnego. Piąty rozdział podsumowuje zawartość tekstu i analizuje supremację globalną jako ambicję hegemonii na Bliskim Wschodzie. Praca jest oparta przede wszystkim na źródłach w języku angielskim i przedstawia elementy analizy krytycznej polityki zagranicznej oraz wewnętrznej administracji amerykańskiej podczas prezydentury George’a Busha Jr.
