Kreacja obozu Auschwitz we współczesnej literaturze popularnej – na przykładzie powieści Niny Majewskiej-Brown

dc.abstract.en	The subject of the Holocaust and concentration camps has existed in Polish literature ever since the scale of the Nazi crime was widely revealed. Camp literature, literature created by Survivors and then written and edited by subsequent generations, continues to arouse interest among researchers. At the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, one can see an increasingly strong use of the formula of popular literature to talk about the Shoah. This is the source of the interest of the author of the dissertation on the creation of the Auschwitz camp in the so-called striped novels, i.e. texts created in the 21st century with characteristic white and blue stripes, referring to the camp costumes. Thus, in the work, using the tools of geopoetics and close reading, the way in which the space of the camp complex in Oświęcim, Brzezinka and Monowice was described was examined, to what extent the described places are faithful to reality, and also for what purposes the camp and the Holocaust of Jews are used in selected novels by Nina Majewska-Brown (The Secret of Auschwitz, The Angel of Life from Auschwitz, The Survivor from Auschwitz). These considerations are supplemented by an analysis of the way the space of Auschwitz is created with regard to the virtual reader, i.e. the Polish women and Poles to whom the story is addressed. Additionally, it was checked whether in the contemporary striped novel the indicated camp complex has not already become a myth, symbol or topos. The research on the metaphorical nature of Auschwitz in Nina Majewska-Brown's trilogy is supplemented by an analysis of the stereotypes used by the author in the creation of the heroines and heroes, as well as their impact on the discourse on the camp.
dc.abstract.pl	Temat Zagłady i obozów koncentracyjnych w literaturze polskiej istnieje odkąd na szeroką skalę ujawniono rozmiary nazistowskiej zbrodni. Literatura obozowa, literatura tworzona przez Ocalałych, a następnie pisana i redagowana przez kolejne pokolenia wciąż budzi zainteresowanie wśród badaczy i badaczek. Na przełomie lat 80. i 90. XX wieku można dostrzec coraz silniejsze wykorzystywanie formuły literatury popularnej do mówienia o Szoa. Z tego wyrasta zainteresowanie autorki rozprawy na temat kreacji obozu Auschwitz w tzw. pasiastych powieściach, czyli tekstach powstałych w XXI z charakterystycznymi biało-niebieskimi paskami, nawiązującymi do strojów z obozu. Tym samym, w pracy, przy wykorzystaniu narzędzi geopoetyki i „close reading”, zbadany został sposób, w jaki opisana skonstruowano przestrzeń kompleksu obozów w Oświęcimiu, Brzezince i Monowicach, na ile opisywane miejsca są wierne rzeczywistości, a także, w jakich celach wykorzystywany jest obóz oraz Zagłada Żydów w wybranych powieściach Niny Majewskiej-Brown (Tajemnica z Auschwitz, Anioł życia z Auschwitz, Ocalona z Auschwitz). Uzupełnieniem tych rozważań jest analiza sposobu kreowania przestrzeni Auschwitz ze względu na wirtualnego czytelnika, czyli Polki i Polaków, do których skierowana jest opowieść. Dodatkowo sprawdzono, czy we współczesnej powieści „w paski” wskazany zespół obozowy nie stał się już mitem, symbolem lub toposem. Uzupełnieniem badań o metaforyczności Auschwitz w trylogii Niny Majewskiej-Brown jest analiza stereotypów wykorzystywanych przez autorkę w kreacji bohaterek i bohaterów, a także ich wpływ na dyskurs o obozie.
