Dowód osmologiczny w procesie karnym

dc.abstract.en	This Master’s thesis aims to demonstrate the unique nature of scent evidence, with particular reference to the procedural aspects. It draws attention to the composition of odours, the use of service dogs in osmological investigations, and provides an overview of court rulings. The paper highlights the importance of training service dog handlers and dogs specialised in osmological investigations for scent traces and, subsequently, for osmological expert reports. The author attempts to answer the question of whether scent traces are relevant in criminal proceedings. The paper compares generative artificial intelligence with scent and highlights the problem of identifying individual scent traces using AI. The paper offers a new, somewhat fresher, yet critical perspective on osmological expertise and scent traces.
dc.abstract.pl	Praca jest próbą pokazania jak niezwykłym zagadnieniem są ślady zapachów, z uwzględnieniem strony procesowej. Zwraca uwagę na budowę zapachu, wykorzystanie psa służbowego podczas badań osmologicznych oraz jest przeglądem orzeczeń sądów. W pracy zawarto jak ważne dla śladów zapachowych, a później dla ekspertyzy osmologicznej jest szkolenie przewodników psów służbowych i psów o specjalności do badań osmologicznych. Autorka próbuje znaleźć odpowiedź na pytanie czy ślady zapachowe są istotne w procesie karnym? W pracy zestawiono generatywną sztuczną inteligencję z biologicznym zapachem oraz ukazano problem identyfikacji osobniczych śladów zapachowych z wykorzystaniem Al. Praca daje nowe, nieco świeższe, ale przy tym krytyczne spojrzenie na ekspertyzę osmologiczną i na ślady zapachowe.
