Ewolucja roli i pozycji kobiet w Siłach Zbrojnych RP w latach 1989-2024

dc.abstract.en	The subject of the paper is the changing role and significance of women in the Polish armed forces from 1989 to 2024. The first part of the paper discusses the historical background, presenting the participation of women in military actions throughout the centuries, and analyzes the political and social factors that had a significant impact on their presence in the military in the 20th century, focusing on the period of the People's Republic of Poland and the subsequent political changes. The second chapter is analytical in nature and is primarily based on statistical data and their analysis. It shows the changes that occurred after Poland joined NATO and their impact on the number of women serving in the military. The final chapter presents the current challenges faced by female soldiers in the 21st century. It discusses their professional situation, perception by society, difficulties related to balancing professional and family responsibilities, as well as the aspiration to achieve command positions. The paper illustrates a long-term process of changes that led to an increase in the presence, role, and position of women in the military structures of the Republic of Poland.
dc.abstract.pl	Tematem pracy jest zmieniająca się rola i znaczenie kobiet w polskich siłach zbrojnych w latach 1989-2024. W pierwszej części pracy omówiono historyczne tło przybliżając udział kobiet w działaniach zbrojnych na przestrzeni wieków a także przeanalizowano czynniki polityczne i społeczne, które miały znaczący wpływ na ich obecność w wojsku w XX wieku, skupiając się na okresie PRL i idących za nim zmianach ustrojowych. Drugi rozdział ma charakter analityczny i opiera się przede wszystkim na danych statystycznych i ich analizie. Ukazuje jakie zmiany zaszły po przystąpieniu Polski do NATO oraz ich wpływ na liczbę kobiet pełniących służbę wojskową. Ostatni rozdział przedstawia aktualne wyzwania kobiet żołnierzy XXI wieku. Omawia ich sytuacje zawodową, postrzeganie przez społeczeństwo, trudności związane z łączeniem obowiązków zawodowych z rodzinnymi a także dążeniem do osiągnięcia stanowisk dowódczych. Praca ukazuje długofalowy proces zmian, który doprowadził do zwiększenia obecności, roli a także pozycji kobiet w strukturach wojskowych RP.
