Nierówności w dostępie do mobilności edukacyjnej: analiza uczestnictwa studentów z grup o mniejszych szansach w programie Erasmus+ 2021-2027 na podstawie danych Komisji Europejskiej

dc.abstract.en	This bachelor's thesis examines inequalities in access to international educational mobility by analysing the effectiveness of the social inclusion strategy in the Erasmus+ program for 2021–2027. The main research objective is to examine whether the introduction of support instruments for students with fewer opportunities has led to the actual inclusion of disadvantaged groups. The theoretical framework is based, among others, on Bourdieu's and Passeron's theories of reproduction and Lucas's effectively maintained inequality. The empirical study was conducted using secondary analysis of official data from the European Commission (Erasmus+ Mobility Raw Data) for the 2021 and 2024 cohorts. The results indicate the operational success of the new inclusive policy. During the analysed period, the participation of FO students in the program increased from only 5% in 2021 to 21% in 2024. An evolution in the behaviour of this group was observed: thanks to systemic support, FO students began to more frequently choose international internships and short-term mobility, aligning their profile with participants without this status. Importantly, EU compensation allowances allowed disadvantaged individuals to effectively overcome economic barriers, enabling them to travel to the most expensive host countries just as frequently as their privileged peers. Despite the fragmentation of the mobile elite, the study revealed significant international disparities. The study calls for the harmonization of these definitions and further, in-depth research on the long-term effects of mobility.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca licencjacka bada nierówności w dostępie do międzynarodowej mobilności edukacyjnej, analizując skuteczność strategii włączenia społecznego w programie Erasmus+ na lata 2021–2027. Głównym celem badawczym jest sprawdzenie czy wprowadzenie instrumentów pomocowych dla studentów o mniejszych szansach doprowadziło do faktycznego włączenia grup defaworyzowanych. Ramy teoretyczne oparto m.in. na teoriach reprodukcji Bourdieu i Passerona i skutecznie podtrzymywanej nierówności Lucasa. Badanie empiryczne przeprowadzono za pomocą wtórnej analizy danych urzędowych Komisji Europejskiej (Erasmus+ Mobility Raw Data) dla roczników 2021 i 2024. Wyniki wskazują na sukces operacyjny nowej polityki włączającej. W analizowanym okresie udział studentów FO w programie skoczył z zaledwie 5% w 2021 roku do 21% w 2024 roku. Zaobserwowano ewolucję zachowań tej grupy: dzięki systemowemu wsparciu studenci FO zaczęli częściej wybierać zagraniczne staże oraz mobilności krótkoterminowe, upodabniając swój profil do uczestników bez tego statusu. Co istotne, unijne dodatki kompensacyjne pozwoliły osobom defaworyzowanym skutecznie pokonać barierę ekonomiczną, umożliwiając im wyjazdy do najdroższych państw przyjmujących tak samo często, jak ich uprzywilejowani rówieśnicy. Mimo rozszczelnienia „mobilnej elity”, badanie ujawniło znaczne dysproporcje międzynarodowe. Praca postuluje potrzebę harmonizacji tych definicji oraz prowadzenia dalszych, pogłębionych badań nad długofalowymi skutkami mobilności.
