Obstacles to Regional Integration in Central Asia since 1991

dc.abstract.enThis thesis is going to analyze regional integration process in Central Asian region and three main factors hindering the process. Countries in the region became independent states in 1991, with the dissolution of the USSR, therefore only organizations that were or have been functioned since then will be taken into account. Starting from the background information about regional integration process in Central Asia, it will continue with analyzing regional institutions in Central Asia established both by regional or non regional states. In addition to that economic, regional and external factor are going to be explained in details in each chapter with numerous primary and secondary data supporting arguments.
