dc.abstract.en	The master’s thesis entitled “Crypto-assets and Blockchain Technology as Tools for Money Laundering” addresses the issue of the use of crypto-assets and blockchain technology in money laundering schemes, and analyses the effectiveness of contemporary legal and technological instruments aimed at counteracting this phenomenon. The dynamic development of the cryptocurrency market, the decentralisation of financial services, and the ongoing digitalisation of economic transactions have led to the emergence of new forms of transferring and concealing assets, which are increasingly used by organised criminal groups, cybercriminals, and entities seeking to circumvent financial regulations. As a result, the problem of money laundering through crypto-assets has become one of the most important challenges facing the modern financial security system.
dc.abstract.pl	Praca magisterska pt. „Kryptoaktywa oraz technologia blockchain jako narzędzia prania pieniędzy” podejmuje problematykę wykorzystywania kryptoaktywów oraz technologii blockchain w procederze prania pieniędzy, a także analizuje skuteczność współczesnych instrumentów prawnych i technologicznych służących przeciwdziałaniu temu zjawisku. Dynamiczny rozwój rynku kryptowalut, decentralizacja usług finansowych oraz postępująca cyfryzacja obrotu gospodarczego prowadzą do powstawania nowych form transferu i ukrywania wartości majątkowych, które coraz częściej wykorzystywane są przez zorganizowane grupy przestępcze, sprawców cyberprzestępczości oraz podmioty dążące do obejścia regulacji finansowych. W rezultacie problematyka prania pieniędzy przy użyciu kryptoaktywów staje się jednym z najważniejszych wyzwań współczesnego systemu bezpieczeństwa finansowego.
