Ocena warunków bioklimatycznych pod względem turystyki i komfortu życia mieszkańców Japonii

dc.abstract.en	This study addresses the issue of the impact of weather and climate conditions on people living in or visiting Japan. Four biometeorological indicators were used to determine this impact. They were divided into three groups: thermal comfort (UTCI), thermal stress (WCI and WBGT), and tourism-related (TCI). Each of them was calculated based on daily meteorological data from 2014-2023. Japan is characterized by a large meridional extent and varied topography. In addition, meteorological and climatic conditions are influenced by location, moving baric centers, the East Asian monsoon, and ocean currents. The study shows that biometeorological conditions vary in time and space (seasonally and from year to year). Cold stress occurs in winter in the north of the country, spring and autumn offer the most favorable conditions, and summer brings serious heat stress risks. In addition, it was found that climate plays an important role for Japanese residents, but has no significant impact on tourism. The country is home to many tourist attractions related to its cultural and natural wealth, which attract millions of visitors every year.
dc.abstract.pl	W niniejszej pracy podjęto problematykę wpływu warunków pogodowych i klimatycznych na osoby mieszkające w Japonii lub odwiedzające ten kraj. Aby określić ten wpływ, wykorzystano cztery wskaźniki biometeorologiczne. Podzielono je na trzy grupy: komfort termiczny (UTCI), obciążenia termiczne (WCI i WBGT) oraz relacje z turystyką (TCI). Każdy z nich obliczono na podstawie dobowych danych meteorologicznych z okresu 2014-2023. Japonia charakteryzuje się dużą rozciągłością południkową i urozmaiconą rzeźbą terenu. Ponadto na warunki meteorologiczne i klimatyczne wpływ mają: położenie, przemieszczające się ośrodki baryczne, monsun wschodnioazjatycki i prądy morskie. W pracy wykazano, że warunki biometeorologiczne są zróżnicowane czasowo i przestrzennie (sezonowo i z roku na rok). Stres zimna występuje zimą na północy kraju, wiosna i jesień oferują najbardziej sprzyjające warunki, a lato przynosi poważne zagrożenia związane ze stresem gorąca. Ponadto stwierdzono, że klimat odgrywa ważną rolę dla mieszkańców Japonii, ale nie ma znaczącego wpływu na turystykę. Kraj ten jest miejscem wielu atrakcji turystycznych związanych z bogactwem kulturowym i przyrodniczym, które każdego roku przyciągają miliony odwiedzających.
