Media a zdrowie psychiczne. Zdrowie psychiczne, stygmatyzacja i destygmatyzacja w mediach na przykładzie serwisów internetowych dzienników „Rzeczpospolita” oraz „Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”

dc.abstract.en	Mental health is a topic, which is very increasingly being covered by the media. Nowadays, many people are facing a mental crisis, mental disorders or mental illnesses. Providing them effective psychological and psychiatric help is related to their own approach to their health and the stigmatisation, which is rooted in the old culture is a very serious obstacle. The way of presentation these issues in media is therefore of crucial importance for medical and social cases. This bachelor’s thesis presents the characteristics and history of daily newspapers on examples of which are presenting process of stigmatization and destigmatization. There are also discussed about issues related to mental health condition in society and how medial language influence on it. Then, there is analysis of articles which bring up topic of mental health and which come from websites of daily newspapers “Rzeczpospolita” and “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”. The conclusion includes a summary of the level of stigmatization in the texts from both websites. There are also discusses about the responsibility of the media and their roles in society's perception of mental illnesses.
dc.abstract.pl	Zdrowie psychiczne jest tematem coraz częściej poruszanym przez media. Współcześnie wiele osób mierzy się z kryzysem psychicznym, zaburzeniami lub chorobami psychicznymi. Udzielenie im efektywnej pomocy psychologicznej i psychiatrycznej jest związane z ich własnym podejściem do swojego zdrowia, a zakorzeniona w dawnej kulturze stygmatyzacja jest tu bardzo poważną przeszkodą. Sposób prezentacji tych zagadnień w mediach ma zatem kluczowe znaczenie dla kwestii medycznych i społecznych. W pracy zaprezentowana jest charakterystyka i historia dzienników, na których przykładzie ukazuje się procesy stygmatyzacji i destygmatyzacji. Omówione są również zagadnienia związane z kondycją zdrowia psychicznego w społeczeństwie i to, jak wpływa na nią medialny język. Następnie przeprowadzona jest analiza artykułów poruszających tematykę zdrowia psychicznego, pochodzących z serwisów internetowych dzienników „Rzeczpospolita” oraz „Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”. Zakończenie zawiera podsumowanie poziomu stygmatyzacji w tekstach z obu serwisów. Mowa w nim również o odpowiedzialności mediów i ich roli w postrzeganiu chorób psychicznych przez społeczeństwo.
