Il vocabolario italiano-spagnolo e spagnolo-italiano di Lorenzo Franciosini: uno strumento utile per l’insegnamento di lingue straniere nel Seicento

Lorenzo Franciosini's "Italian-Spanish and Spanish-Italian Vocabulary", published in Rome in 1620, was treated as a useful source for the Italian students of Spanish for many centuries. The advantage of that dictionary over other vocabularies from the same period is due to the fact that it was based on the author's practical experience of a foreign language teacher and his perfect knowledge of Spanish. It should be emphasized that Franciosini is also known as the author of grammar books.
