Jak amerykańska popkultura pokazywała wojnę wietnamską w latach 1961 – 1985, na przykładzie komiksów wydawnictwa Marvel Comics.

Praca zaczyna się od wytyczenia jasnych granic i zakresu tematu. W kolejnym rozdziale zawarłem refleksję na temat tego czym był komiks. Następnie szeroko opisałem wpływ Comics Code Authority na branżę komiksową. Później krótko przedstawiłem historię wydawnictwa Marvel Comics i społeczny odbiór wojny wietnamskiej w USA, po czym przeszedłem do głównej części pracy, czyli analizy komiksów, podzielonych na dwa rozdziały: komiksy wychodzące w czasie trwania konfliktu i drugi dotyczący dekady po jej zakończeniu. Następnie napisałem o tym czego w komiksie nie znajdziemy. Potem analizuję stosunek Stana Lee, redaktora wydawnictwa, do wojny wietnamskiej. Na końcu znajduje się podsumowanie i wnioski, a także bibliografia i aneks do pracy.

The work begins with setting clear boundaries and the scope of the subject. In the next chapter, I included a reflection on what comics were. Then, I broadly described the influence of the Comics Code Authority on the comic book industry. Then, I briefly presented the history of the Marvel Comics publishing house and the social reception of the Vietnam War in the USA, after which I moved on to the main part of the work, i.e. an analysis of comics, divided into two chapters: comics published during the conflict and the second one concerning the decade after its end. Then I wrote about what we will not find in comics. Then I analyze the attitude of Stan Lee, the editor of the publishing house, to the Vietnam War. At the end, there is a summary and conclusions, as well as a bibliography and an appendix to the work.
