Karnawałowe tropy w subkulturze raverów i środowisku protestu

W swojej pracy szczegółowo badam współczesne zjawiska kultury rave i środowiska protestu, a także ich karnawałowe ucieleśnienie. Liczne badania terenowe prowadzone przeze mnie na przestrzeni ostatnich 5 lat pozwoliły mi na dogłębną analizę socjokulturową, semiotyczną i subkulturową przedstawicieli subkultury raverów i środowiska protestu jako podmiotów kulturowych konstruujących znaczenia i wyrażających wzorce nowoczesności. Spojrzenie na oba zjawiska z perspektywy karnawałowej koncepcji kultury Michaiła Bachtina odsłania nowe perspektywy ich interpretacji. Karnawałowe tropy zarówno rave’ów, jak i protestów mają swoje unikalne wcielenia, jednak w istocie są podobne i mają tę samą naturę. Z kolei karnawałowa koncepcja kultury ugruntowuje się jako koncepcja aktualna i oferuje nowy model wyjaśniający na szereg współczesnych zjawisk, w tym na subkulturę raverów i środowisko protestu, które są konkretnym ucieleśnieniem przemian kulturowych oraz historycznych.

In my work, I examine in detail the contemporary phenomena of rave culture and protest, as well as their carnival embodiment. Numerous field studies conducted by me over the last 5 years have allowed me to conduct an in-depth sociocultural, semiotic and subcultural analysis of representatives of the raver subculture and protest environment as cultural entities constructing meanings and expressing patterns of modernity. Looking at both phenomena from the perspective of Mikhail Bakhtin's carnival concept of culture reveals new perspectives for their interpretation. The carnival tropes of both raves and protests have their unique incarnations, but in essence they are similar and have the same nature. In turn, the carnival concept of culture is establishing itself as a relevant concept and offers a new explanatory model for a number of contemporary phenomena, including the raver subculture and protest environment, which are a specific embodiment of cultural and historical transformations.
